Virgin Galactic Website

I had the great fortune to work on the 2018 relaunch of VirginGalactic.com as the frontend lead for the website. Virgin Galactic’s mission is to get people excited about space and actually send people there, so the website needed to be something that was sleek, exciting and easy to use.

Built on the React framework, the website features page-to-page transitions, content-rich blog templates, and – most exciting to me – plenty of micro interactions that (hopefully) add that extra layer of space-age polish to everything.

The website featured an image viewer to showcase some of the beautiful photographs that have documented Virgin Galactic’s journey

It was really important that the website share the Virgin Galactic story. On this page, users could scroll through a series of video profiles on the people who make up the VG team.

This project was a great joy to work on, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for Virgin America. Visit the Website
